OINK signs formal release notes and project announcements. This profile keeps
project authorship distinct from the individual maintainers who write design
notes, tutorials, and engineering reports.

About OINK

OINK is a local-first Hugo theme for technical documentation. It provides the
shared shell, navigation, publishing surfaces, and Markdown-native components
used across the Pigsty documentation family.

About

Ruohang Feng (@Vonng) builds
Pigsty, a PostgreSQL distribution, and OINK, the Hugo
theme that publishes its documentation. Both grew out of the same problem:
running a database well and explaining how to run it well are the same body of
knowledge, and neither survives being written down badly.

OINK exists because thirteen sites in that family had drifted into thirteen
copies of one theme. It is a hard fork of Docsy that
keeps Docsy’s content model and replaces the shell, the navigation, the search,
the content primitives, and the typography system — with one rule throughout:
a feature that needs a CDN, an npm install, or a public service the reader
never chose does not ship.
